FLYING

If you are flying to the celebration, we recommend flying into Albany International Airport (Albany, NY), Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT), Boston Logan International Airport (Boston, MA), or Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (Manchester, NH). Each of these airports are approximately a two hour drive from Chester.

AMTRAK

If you’re coming up the Northeast Corridor, you can also take the Vermonter train on Amtrak, which stops in various places in southern Vermont. The closest stop to Chester is Bellows Falls, VT, which is approx. 20 minutes from Chester. If you take the train all the way to Vermont, you will need to arrange transportation between the Amtrak station and your accommodations. However, you can also take the Amtrak to one of the other stops along the Vermonter route that also has accessible rental car locations (New Haven, Hartford, or Springfield).

DRIVING

Vermont is incredibly driveable! There will be parking available during the wedding celebration on-property.

We appreciate you traveling to Vermont to celebrate with us! Chester, VT is located in southern Vermont and, as you may imagine, public transportation is somewhat nonexistent. You will need a car (or to buddy up with someone who will have a car!) to get around the area, as well as to the wedding events.

Below you’ll find options for accommodations and notes on the best way to travel to Chester. We recommend you book your accommodations early, as October is peak leaf peeping season and there is a higher potential of lodging options booking up quickly!

There are a number of inns, bed and breakfasts, and local hotels within a 30 minute drive of Chester, VT. Due to the limited capacity of each lodging option, we will not have a dedicated room block. If you’re looking to stay local to Chester, we’ve included a few of the local lodging spots below.

We highly recommend that you book your lodging no later than June 2024 — October is peak leaf peeping season in Vermont and lodging options will book up quickly!
